I’m a scriptwriter and director working in film and television.
Born in Sheffield and now living in Bristol after a spell in London, I fell in love with movies after watching Modern Times and Singin’ in the Rain on a top-loading VHS player as a young boy. I made my first film at 14, setting fire to a model Audi Quattro and getting banned from the school film club for excessive pyromania.
One of 12 writers selected from 2800+ entries to participate in Channel 4’s 4Screenwriting 2022, supported by script editors to write and develop an original drama series.
One of 13 writers selected from 3200+ entries to join BBC Writers Drama Room 2022-2023, supported by a script editor and BBC Drama Executives to create a new drama pilot and series bible.
Over a dozen scriptwriting credits for Children’s Television programmes airing on CBeebies, CITV and Channel 5 Milkshake.
Projects in development with Warp Films, Pure Fiction, Raw and Greenacre Films.
20 years of experience in producing and directing factual and drama for film and television.
